Samuel Hidalgo-Clyne (born 4 August 1993, Granada, Spain) is a Scottish rugby union player who is contracted to Edinburgh Rugby in the RaboDirect Pro12, as well as the Scotland 7s team. He can play either half-back position, but is recognized firstly as a fly-half.
Hidalgo-Clyne is set to specialize in the shorter format of the game, focusing on the IRB Sevens World Series circuit for Scotland Sevens. However, in between Sevens events he will be part of the Edinburgh squad, and available to play in RaboDirect Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches. He is a member of the Elite Development program.
